WELCOME

I am very passionate in taking raw stock and making a tool or some sort of useful object out of the raw material. Using a print, hand drawn description, sample, or making a sample to make multiple parts, like a fixture, is something I enjoy doing. Some of the items I use is a Proto Trak EMX CNC capable mill, lathe, surface grinder, radial arm drill press or a wide variety of hand power tools.
My dream of doing this the rest of my life all started with tinkering with tools when I was young then working in a foundry with some machining for 7 years after graduation. I went on to MPTC, graduated with machining and tooling techniques in Fond du lac Wisconsin in 1987. I proceeded to work for Muthig Industries for 18 years as a tool maker finally graduating in 2011 from Tool and die/CNC for my journeyman’s card at MPTC West Bend Wisconsin. I started at Alliance Laundry Systems LLC as 2nd shift lead tool maker and am still currently working there. While working at Alliance I work in my shop part time during the week and weekends.
I have 30+ years of experience of keeping the manufacturing word running as quick fix and print so the modified project could be used while a new one is being remade. I can keep my shop prices very low cutting some machine shop prices nearly in ½, so feel free to give me a call from 8:30am to 1pm on weekdays and from 9am till 9pm on weekends to talk to me. You may also email me at anytime at gary.oppermann@yahoo.com or oppytool@yahoo.com and I will reply at my earliest convenience. Phone 920-748-1229 please leave a message.
